Parent Coaching
Helping caregivers feel confident and equipped in the moments that matter most.

What You Will Get in This Service
Parent coaching helps caregivers feel more confident supporting their child’s development in everyday life. Many challenges come up during routines like getting ready for school, mealtime, play, or transitions, and coaching focuses on helping parents respond in ways that support communication, independence, and behavior. These strategies are helpful for children with and without developmental diagnoses.
Coaching is collaborative and grounded in real-life situations. BCBAs take time to understand each family’s routines and challenges while focusing on practical strategies that fit naturally into the day. Support also extends into community settings such as grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and family events, along with daily living skills like getting dressed, folding clothes, following simple recipes, and completing household tasks.
Sessions may include observation, modeling, and problem-solving around real situations, helping caregivers better understand what their child is communicating and how small adjustments can make daily interactions feel more manageable.
